Tandoori Spiced Halloumi
This is an extremely simple recipe that makes delicious little nibbles for a party or lovely little starter if served with a salad. You could also substitute the halloumi for slices of sweet potatoes, roasted in the oven.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- A pinch of Tandoori Masala Spice Pot
- 1 packet of Halloumi
- Tomato Chilli Relish / Chutney
Cut the halloumi into 2cm thick slices. Mix the oil and the spices and then rub onto one side of the halloumi. Heat a frying pan or griddle, with a tiny smear of oil then fry the halloumi slices, spice side down. Whilst they are cooking, rub the other sides with the oil and spices. Turn over and fry the other side. Lovely on a BBQ too! Put a dollop of tomato chilli relish on each slice and garnish with coriander.
