Spiced Salmon
A simple spiced salmon recipe and a great option for a mid-week dinner. This can be on the table in 30 minutes so is a quick meal for busy times. Serve with a green salad and some new potatoes for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
200 gram salmon fillet
For marinade:
1-2 tsp of Tandoori Masala
Salt, to taste
2 tsp lime juice
1-2 tsp of oil
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 160C. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the marinade to make a paste (add more oil if too thick to spread).
Wash and pat dry the salmon fillet. Line a oven proof dish with tin foil and place the salmon in the dish. Spread the marinade over the salmon and wrap the fillet up in the foil. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes (or less if you like your salmon medium-done).
Alternatively, you can cook this in an air fryer for around 14 minutes, wrapped in parchment paper.
Serve warm with a salad or pasta, or roasted vegetables or lovely new potatoes! Easy peasy.
You could also cook this on the BBQ or over a campfire - wrap in tinfoil and cook on hot coals until ready.
