Easy Curry Recipes
Easy Curry Recipes
Quick curry is possible if you use a masala (a mixture of ground spices). This eliminates the need to buy and store loads of different spices and reduces the preparation time significantly. Chicken curry or vegetarian curry can be on the table in around 30 minutes when using curry powder. And whilst beef curry and lamb curry take a longer time to cook, the preparation time is short. Add these easy curry recipes to your weekly meal plan!
Chicken Curry
You can make chicken curry with chicken breasts or with chicken thighs (skinless and boneless). You will just need to increase the cooking time if you are using chicken thighs. We like to cook chicken curry with thighs in the oven (rather than on the hob) and it will take around 40 minutes. Use any of our spice mixes for these recipes.
Vegetarian Curry
Vegetarian curry is healthy and inexpensive and it's a great option for quick mid week meals. Low calorie, low fat and full of goodness, you can use whatever vegetables you like to make an easy healthy dinner. Healthy curry is easy to achieve when you make it yourself from scratch and most of our recipes only take around 30 minutes!
Beef Curry Recipe
Whilst beef curry does take a long time to cook, the preparation time for this easy beef curry is minimal. We suggest cooking the day before if possible, in the oven, on a low heat. If you don't like coconut milk, add a tin of tomatoes instead or around 250/300 ml stock. You could add in some vegetables here too or even lentils to make this curry go even further.
Lamb Curry
This Lamb Bhuna curry is absolutely delicious. As above, make a day ahead if you can and leave it cooking under the lamb is soft and tender. Or try our other lamb recipes.
